Acoustic design of new large air handling units to serve four new levels of laboratory spaces. Gillieron Scott Acoustic Design carried out several environmental noise surveys, constructed a CadnaA noise mapping model and submitted a planning report for which planning was granted. GSAD have also carried out acoustic design of the internal spaces for BREEAM based on sound insulation, room acoustics and internal ambient noise levels.
The facility will contribute to the ongoing world class research into public health and tropical medicine.
